Architectual photography aims to convey the sense of space
and place, whether a room or the situation of a structure
in relation to its surroundings. The goals may vary: to
document the exact structure, to elicit in the viewer a
desire to enter the space, to express the story of a location
through representation. In the ideal work achieves all these
goals concurrently. (Above) A view of downtown Houston. (At right) The Boardwalk at Town Center as photographed for the November 2007 ABODE magazine. |
