These photographs relate to the life of Larry Elliott Hiebert, my father and a man who was born in 1943 and who died in 2007. Among the things Larry liked, he particularly liked his toys - from the playthings of his youth through to the much more adult playthings of his later life.
An apocryphal story from Larry's childhood says that at one time when he was growing up he invited a friend to play with his model cars. When the child mistreated Larry's toys it made him so upset that he became physically ill. He took exceptional care of what he had.
The photographs shown here are available as prints with square photographs published in an edition of three and rectangular prints published in an edition of two.
